Like a lot of you, I found this forum when someone referred to it on the HAMB.

I appreciate the no porn rules.

I'm planning and gathering parts for a street-driven 50's - 60's FED with a T-Bucket body. My legs will go over the rear axle. I know it'll take up more room in a body that already has little but if I wanted to be practical, I'd drive a minivan. The radiator will go under the front sheet metal. It'll have TV Tommy Ivo's pipe-organ headers and roll bar and Don Garlits' Swamp Rat 1 front end. I don't know weather that's traditional or not. I just liked the look of it when I drew it on a napkin one day. Below are some pictures that have inspired me.

Welcome to RRR wsdad. I think that's a very cool idea for a rod. I've thought about it myself. Sort of a street leagal comp coupe. It would be great to see someone pull it off.

Welcome!!!

Wsdad,
Welcome Texican!!! Yep... we love FED's. I saw one @ a show recently but was shocked about how the driver sat right over the rear end. I'd say a scatter shield for "the boys" would be in order!!! Glad u found us, make u're self @ home & feel free to join rat in!!! Be sure to keep us updated on your progress!
