How to: Making a bed for your rat truck/utility

Searched this whole place, doesn't seem to have any threads about making a bed.

I'm trying to think up my own bed design, but buggered if i can.

For my benefit and probably a few others, post a few detailed pics of how the bed of your truck was made and a description of what it's made of (size of materials, type of material eg. "1 1/2in x 1/4in wall box section").

This is to help not only me, but others out there who are planning on making their own truck bed, but haven't got a clue where to start.

I used 16 gauge, round tube, and square tube. I made a tail gate and front panel, used a break to bend the top, and wal-la.

Cool. any idea how many m (ft) or square m (square ft) of each you used? just a rough guesstimate would do.

I love your truck by the way, it currently appears on my phone's wallpaper and screensaver hahaha.

Thanks, the bed is only 4 feet long, by less than 2 feet high.

racer 135 I thought about making a box breaking a 45 in it then welding a tube on it but a 48-52 chevy box work pretty good to. I'm working on those today they're 46" long and i still have to cut out for the axle
