at least for a little while...I recently as of yesterday was rear ended...whats worse is that the car I was in was me and my wifes brand new car which is only 5 months old :( ...I am advised by her (a nurse) to relax and take it easy for a week or so and see how I feel... This has thrown my timeline all out of whack. I was supposed to pull my engine and transmission out of my 65 tomorrow but that looks like it will be in a couple of weeks or longer...At least this will give me time to take some pics of the 65 and update my build thread and creep on the forum.

oh man
that stinks.
last fall i hit a coyote in my fiances car and had to buy a new engine.
the 5000 bucks i was gonna throw in my rod disappeared instantly. :(
but now she has a new engine
and my hotrod does too!
i am glad you are ok and that you WILL get your rod squared away.
it will just take a little longer.....

Glad to hear you're alright.

I was sitting at stop light once and noticed a Mercedes a few hundred yards behind me moving really fast.

It wasn't anything out of the ordinary except that the guy was driving too fast. So I turned my attention to other things.

The next thing I saw was his car in my rear view. Coming on at about 50 mph. and just a few feet away.

He sent me airborne through the intersection.

Ouch ! 3 words of advice...........Get a lawyer. Find one who is a heavy hitter in traffic accidents and who is a pitbull. DO NOT SIGN ANY RELEASES from either insurance company until you speak with one, they are NOT on your side.

Hope you are feeling better soon, and I strongly suggest you protect yourself because a month or year from now you could start having medical problems as a result of this hit.

Good luck,

Don

We have a heavy hitting law firm down here in Florida, and if I am ever in your shoes I am calling these guys:

Good Advise from Don....

glad you guys are ok......a little R&R never hurts but follow Don's advise......

Hope you're up and at em soon......

The guy that hit me is actually one of my coworkers...He already filed a claim and told his insurance it was all his fault..His insurance told me to go to what body shop I wanted to get an estimate..He did about 3000 dollars worth of damage...The place im taking it to is a VW certified collision repair specialist and they are going to replace so no bondo. Im actually going to get in the garage this week hopefully.
