Hello I am hoping someone can help me figure out the mystery of my engine. I have been rebuilding a 1956 International BD240 and it has been a nightmare finding parts. I have gotten everything gathered up and just had a new (to me) crank turned to match my bearings. When I went to put the rings on I discovered someone had bored this old girl out .40 over at some point. So not only with the standard rings not work but someone put in a piston with 4 rings and it is original a 3 ring piston. I need to figure out what the pistons came out of so I can get .40 over rings. Where do I start?? The piston is 3.916 If anyone has a jump off point I would appreciate the help!!! Thanks!
