Every Thursday of the year, a friend, Greg hosts a pot luck meal in his shop about 10 miles outside Stillwater. In the summer around 30-40 guys show up. Here's the interesting cars that were there last night. For the most part, it's an older group. Many of these cars have had the same owner for 20 years or more. The record last night was 47 years with the current owner.

A beautifully detailed flathead.
Dove grey '40. Yum yum.
160,000 miles of hot ridding on this one.

Cruizin' in style.

270hp 283, T-10 4 speed. The muscle car of my youth.

Late model junk. Just kidding.

Chuck is a first class builder and welder. This is his beater.

I always liked Jerry, then he moved to Wisconsin.

I can't describe how sweet this '55 sounded.

He's got a few more Willys at home. Usually there's 3 or 4 at the picnic.

Did Dodge try to make it look like a Rambler???

More late model junk.

Dave ran this 4 speed Chevelle at the Meltdown drags a month ago.
In my humble opinion, this car is perfect.

It's got a V8 60hp and juice brakes.

For me, gatherings like this are better than normal car shows. Good friends and a few new guys to meet, an abundance of food and swapping stories regardless of how inaccurate they've become through the years.

A Show In Hugo

Went to a show put on by the Studebaker guys this morning. It was cloudy and cool but still a good turnout. This was in the parking lot. Pretty old school bucket.

Another parking lot dweller. That's my English car next to it.

A nice Pilot House in the parking lot.

My neighbor Mike's truck. For sale. If interested, let me know.
All these parking lot shots, let's go into the show.

An old Volvo with a 2.3 Ford EFI.

I had to step back a ways to get the whole Bonneville in the frame.

So clean, so simple. I'll take one.

Love the guys that drive open cars in cool weather.

High and Low. My Rover project currently sits like the one on the left but will sit more like the one on the right by next summer. This one's bagged though.

Okay, here's the "Guess what it is" car of the show.
