Hi , I passed this beauty on a trailor yesterday near Arundel Castle , sussex ,U.K. Dont know much about it as there was nobody around to ask ! looks like Its been stored somewhere for years , google says its a 1953 daimler conquest roadster BUT its l.h.d and its got a non-standard 3 piece windscreen , can just imagin this cruising in california with a delectable 1950`s actress behind the wheel !

Interesting car,But I have never seen a car tied down to a trailer like that. That would never fly over here in the states. That is just a serious acccident waiting to happen.

Daimlers are sweet. Similar to the Jaguar MK. I was looking at a 1959 MKIX for $4000, no interior, nice n' ratty looking, right hand drive, but way too much $$$ for a rat. Would have looked sweet and definitely different when done with it though.

I like it. I've never seen or heard of one, but It has a lot of potential. Isn't Daimler a part of Mercedes now???

If I remember correctly Benz was more the money man in the Daimler Benz merger and one of the caveats was his daughter Mercedes have her name on the car.
