Well... I was doin' a 'lil Spring cleanin' @ my home office & ran across this picture from the newspaper of the old Tripper ridin' the trails on flood control land (Nov. 1969). The title of the article was... "Cycling On Flood Control Land Is A "No - No"... hence the face mask. This was my fav old dirt bike... Yammi DT1! I raced scrambles all over the state. One of my fav tracks was in Baytown... the owner had a teenage son & daughter that raced the 125 class. The girl was vicious!!! If *anyone* (including her brother) got in her way she'd stick out her leg & kikk u over. Her brother was her fav target!!! I loved dirt trackin'... hangin' the bike out off the old steel shoe!!! Anyone else got some pictures of u're self hangin' it out!?!?!?

And he has regreted gettin rid of that hard tail chopper to this very day!
