So my buddy and I went down this morning too or local wrecking yard my buddy owns. Didn't find what we needed for the 53 Ford but we did get some cool pictures of forgotten classics

Wow. There hasn't been any yards around here with anything that old in years. They all crushed everything when scrap prices got so high a few years back.
As a matter of fact, only yard I know of left is over in Birmingham, a Pick a Part, and they seldom have anything older than 80's stuff. Most of it is newer bellybutton cars...

Maybe y I know he's got a couple studebakers out there. He has a lot that is separate of cars you won't sell parts of. I know there's a couple out there but I think there is a few in the back lot. I will ask my dad he's working for him in his retirement years lol so I have lots of stuff I don't need now

There were several really big ones around here but when the price of steel ran up. a few yrs back.. they cashed in & all those cars are no more! Sad!

It's about an hour from ellensburg. It's in Sunnyside

Yeah, I kind of agree. But you're right he needs the space. He gets plastic steel in almost weekly because people know they'll take it

Most of the good yards are gone now here too. Same deal when the scrap prices were high we lost it all! Sorry times...
