That's wild. But, I see some beetles in there that I didn't think we're even manufactured 70 years ago. Edit: I stand corrected. They were in production in 1938. I did not know this. That is one creepy line of photos .

Id love to walk threw there,, it would be in the winter though (snakes ) I think I had a 64 or 69 bug .. dont remember know it had the turn signal bulb inside a glass dome that covered the headlight

That's one crusty boneyard, definitely a high iron content in the soil there now.
However, the author of the article needs to do better research - those are mostly cars from the 50's, very few WWII era cars, even a couple 70's ones (squarish blue 4 dr.)
What looks like a frozen traffic jam to european eyes is just an old boneyard to us.....
