Well, I just made my appointment for this Thursday to have my truck lettered and this is what's going on... just need some advise and opinions.

My grandpa started a service station back in the 50's and I want to put the name and Sunoco insignia on the doors with the shop info. What I'm thinking about is possibly doing the lettering in German since my family is from there. Not sure if it would look too funky on a truck like this being, well.... it's a Ford. But I have seen foreign lettering before on others and it's pretty eye catching.

Ye's or Ne's welcome.

And if you have any pics of foreign lettering, please post them so I can get an idea, thanks.

Can't wait to see it. I say have the lettering done in English if the station was here in the United States.....with maybe a German reference elsewhere on the truck.

I agree with Gastrick. Do the spelling in English maybe using an old German style font.
