One of the front lever shocks on my 1934 Dodge has a small leak at the side shaft that holds the arms.
The shocks work Ok so, I want to change the seals. I tried to remove the arms in a press but, the shafts have a very fine spline and the arms wont come apart with quite a bit of pressure from the press. I feel something might break if I add more pressure.
On the top part of the shock, there is a round cap pressed in that looks similar to a frost plug. It looks kinda like a permanent plug that should not be messed with but, it might also need to come out to dismantle the shock... I don't know. Looking for someone that has done it before.[S
RRR, thanks for all your help on this build.
