license plate floor

For those of you who have used license plates to make a complete floor, how did you fasten them? I have 2 speed limit signs that I used self tappers into the existing floor but would like to surround the rest with plates. I don't really like the idea of using self tappers all the way around my floor and get underneath it someday only to have a nice battle with all those nice tapped points.

I would use blind pop rivets. Youcould also use a good quality glue.

Yeah you could use the glue that they use to hold bed sides on with. Rivets would work, a nice good coat of JB weld would work pretty good.

when i do my floor i will just weld all the plates together and cut everything to fit
