Lower 1946 truck cab over frame

I have a 42 Chevy truck cab that started out as a 1 ton. I have the cab sitting on a 46 1/2 ton frame with a 4" dropped axle and 3" lowered rear springs. I want to run fenderless and would like to lower the cab just enough to cover the frame. Any way of doing this without a bunch of modifications? Thanks

On a straight frame it should cover up to about 5" without a problem.
