Making Friends, Kicking Butt

Went to a Local show today about 35 miles South of my home today.

Still a little hot around here for fall it was about 83 or so. Good thing the rain predicted didn't happen. Bad thing the overcast clouds predicted also didn't happen.

As I'm heading out this a.m., the misses tells me wear a hat followed by take your sunscreen, followed by take the pop-up. To which I reply, I'm not wearing a hat, the Sunscreen is in the kit bag and I'll make friends with someone with a pop-up. Because I am all about compromise with her.

Got to the show and started talking cars with a group of guys from Chicago. I live about 50 North West of the City. Great group of guys that invited me to sit under their pop-ups (2). Had a great time and most of them are going to try to get out next week and meet me for a bigger show a little farther South West.
