master cylinder blues

i purchase a 1962 chevy pickup master cylinder when i notice that the markings for the clutch is on the right side which should be the brake and brake is on the left which should be the clutch anyone know if these are the same bore to use the left side which is marked as break is ok to use for the clutch please help me here ready to drive my 30 model A
