I'm wanting to pull the shell of my 38 ford sedan from the original frame but the floor is shot and PO removed most of it. I would like to know measurements from door post to door post at latch mechanism. And then from front of door/cowl area where the door stop is... close to bottom hinge. My firewall is good and intact and roof is near perfect so I don't want to warp/damage by lifting. Right now pass door closes ok but driver door top is in and bottom is out a bit. My 40 sedan is near perfect and the measurements at these points are 55 1/4 latch to latch [inside door pillar] And then 42 1/2 at door stops [inside].
