I have an inline Chevy 250 going into a 50 Chevy PU . For cosmetic purposes I set the cab back 8'' on the frame so the front wheels were further forward . The frame has a Chevy Nova sub frame attached up front .

I want to set the engine back to the firewall for a better look . Does anyone have any tips on fabbing the motor mounts ? What angle to set the engine etc. ?

Thx ,
Gonzo

First off, this is not my work. I just saved these pix because this looked like a simple clean set up for a 250 which I'll be running after I ditch the Jeep I-6 I have in the build on mine. On setting the angle...you should have an angle finder to place on the carburater mount of the intake manifold. Set it at level at the mount, that will give you about the right angle (3 degrees at the tranny yoke)
