Mustang II Upper Control Arm

I'm wondering if someone might be able to help me by providing a dimension. I have the OEM type stamped steel upper control arms on my coupe. I'm thinking about replacing them with tubular upper arms but need a dimension. On a set of tubular arms can someone tell me the dimension from a center line through the two hold-down bolts (the two 1/2 inch bolts that attach the arm to the spring hat ) to the inside surface of the circular housing for the ball joint. Hope this makes sense. Thanks, John

I realize that the dimension from the ball joint center to the mounting bolt hole center will be the same as the OEM. What I looking for is the clear opening , OEM vs Tubular. The OEM has sheet metal inboard of the ball joint that the tubular does not have. Its a clearance issue. John
