If it's a late model balancer, thats probably a problem.
Most of the 283 and 327 Chevys and old Small Blocks had a thin 6" balancer.
By the 70's they had thicker 8" balancers.

Yeah it's a 70's block but it's not the stock balancer so I will have togrind down a couple of the fins behind it for clearence which isn't a real big deal since the timing cover will prolly never come off this motor anyway

Thanx bro!! Yeah I have always wanted a motor that looked like this I know I am gonna be kickin myself when I have to clean and polish it all LOL

Thanx I wanted to do something a little bit different with the grille and I am gonna add a more detail to it yet
 
Well didn't get the motro fired up like I was hoping to since the fair was in town everyone decided to ditch out on me and get drunk all week instead :mad::mad::mad::mad:


But I did put the cab back on the frame just to see how it looked again
