i was trying to get some "work" done n my top-chopping exercise when my brother drove up yesterday n his hotrod...
this was the first truck i ever owned, but was original pretty much when i owned it... he has owned it for the past 18-20 years and has had it painted, rbuilt a 390 for it, then put an automatic in it, then in last few years built a nice 460 for it- 429 D0VE heads, xtreme energy comp cam air gap manifold & 850 holley... it runs pretty good.. best so far of 8.42 on 1/8th mile track, thru exhaust on mickey thompson street drag radials and a 3.25 rear gear...
sounds really healthy too...
