wasn't planning on doing a whole lot to this 68 MG Midget but get running and drive back and forth to work. Well wiring under dash was junk so decided to cut it all out and rewire. then I decide to change the dash to a early 60s style.

So I ripped out the dash and all the wiring

the dash was from a old junker I stripped for parts. still need to wire and install Tach and some switches

Yes it came from the factory with positive earth, and has been changed over to negative earth.

I picked this up as a basket case, best I can figure they couldn't get it to crank cause they had changed over to negative earth but distributor wires were still wired for postive earth. FYI fuel pump needs to be either a negative/postive earth. another common mistake when trying to wake one up.
