The master cylinder I got from Master power Brakes in N.C. I had a junk yard brake pedal assy. I got from a Ford van and my plan was to hang it on the fire wall where it belongs, but, my under dash firewall insulator and the heater duct work would all have to go. So I took the old MC out and made a jig on a piece of plywood and patterned a bracket to hold the new style MC in the original spot and have the peddles right where they were. Worked out good ,there is plenty of room! I'm putting Disc up front and the original drums in the back. Fill for the MC is on the outside of the fire wall.I got this Dodge a few weeks ago and was almost disappointed when I put a battery in it and it fired right up and seems to run like a top! I wanted to V8 it but thought it might be cool to drive the original flat 6 around,at least this coming year.I've never had a project car that was not rotted to death ,living in Pa.what else is there! This car came from N.C. and I got lucky as it is almost rust free! I have no external body work to do and just a few holes in the floor. So I'll get the brakes fixed, get some new tires and wheels ,rewire the whole thing ,throw a blanket over the seat and it's ready for spring.I would like to find some junk yard rims, anyone know what would work? 15 inch, Ford,Chrysler bolt pattern. That's my wife and I dressed up as hillbilly's going to a Halloween party. And these are the tail lights I'm going to fab on the 50 Dodge.
