great site! im glad to be here,so that i can learn more tips and tricks and even pass on a few that i know.
as for me, ive been a mechanic of one sort or another my whole life. pretty much anything from automotive,rv,marine, aviation, mining and now railroad.

my current project is a rusty old 54 210 4 door. havent got too far in the build yet as the tear down seems to take forever when i only get to work on it a few hours at a time. oh well, things like this take time. lol.

nah, not a gandydancer.. i work on a railgang as a traveling mechanic..we replace worn out rails on a large scale. i maintain and repair close to 50 pieces of equipment that perform all differnt functions in the rail replacement process. not very exciting really, but i like traveling and we cover 22 states, so i get to see alot of the US ive never seen.
