other than high priced after market heaters what could I use in my 52 chevy car to both heat and defrost ? my original is still an option but would require some major repairs. i'm just seeking other options. thanx guys....tk
 
i am going to build my own,, junkyard parts and a old army munitions box you can buy a heater core at adavance for 19.99, for a camaro

Or spend a lot of time on Napaonline.com
searching for heater cores for various cars, until you get lucky.

I've seen quite a few really kool heaters on daBay... some over priced but some that were pretty reasonable. Worth a try... good luck!

Southern Rods carries a basic heater for about $110 & one that defrosts too for about $120.
 
tear your back seat out build a box with a few holes and a door and throw some wood in it and light it thats cheep lol :p

I'm thinking perhaps the heater unit out of a small foreign car - That's what I'm going to look for - they usually are entirely under dash, and how big can they be to fit a tiny Civic or Corolla?
