Been into Rods and Customs of all kinds since I was a kid and although I've "customised" various daily drivers over the years ,I finally got hold of something to Ratrod about two years ago . Unfortunately with work commitments and keeping my current daily driver going ( it's a lowered '97 Chevy Suburban , imported to the UK from Japan !!) the project has sat in the garage, but I need to get my finger out and this website/forum looks like the right place for inspiration !!
The car is a 1946 Standard Flying 14 , which had been sitting in a garage since 1975 . It doesnt run , but apart from an outrigger and a "sill" needing replaced and some body work to re-align the bootlid , structurally it ain't too bad .... well in ratrod terms at least .
