NM State Fair

We're going to the NM State Fair this afternoon. This morning our car club the Route 66 Rodders are doing a road clean up of our part of RT 66 in Albuquerque. Then it's off to the State Fair.

I really love greasy deep fried fair food and rodeo. what's your favorite part of the fair?

i might be down at the new mexico state fair. at least we are supposed to go, i don't know how long it's going on or anything. me and my girlfriend and her son are heading down there to see her family for a few weeks. i always liked the tractors (at the illinois county and state fair's). my grandpa collects old john deere equipment, so he'd always have something at them. lots of fun. i have trophies from driving some of them in parades. sometimes there would be a pretty crazy assortment of animals, too. i remember there were elephant rides one year.
