hi all.
new here. just got my hands on a car i've been trying to get for 10 years. 64 galaxie 500, already a rat, just gonna make it a nicer one. needs some body work to stave off the rust, almost no engine work so far as i can tell.

Welcome to the RRR. I got my '42 Chevy from Nor Cal. It was in Hawkinsville, a couple miles from Yreka. There was a lot of 50's and 60's cars and trucks there. I saw alot of projects there but my dad and I could hear banjo's playing if you know what I mean. You might check them out next time you are up that way, if ever.

yeah there are some nice cars and weird people around. i haven't made it to yreka yet. i live in arcata. just saw a 47(?) plymouth on craigslist today that runs for 1200. i don't need it though (and don't have the money even if i did). thanks for the welcome everybody.
