My name is Casey and I have a 1950 Chevy Styleline 2 door that I picked up for $800. Its pretty rusty but all the glass is good and the car is 95% complete. I plan to build a super cheap DD rat rod out of it. Street sign floors, license plate door panels, black pipe side exhaust pipes you get the idea. Pics up as soon as I get rolling.

Heres some pics, havent gotten to tear into her yet!

Shes gonna have street sign floor boards, license plate door panels, home made side pipes, a train horn and some knobby tires. Plus anything else I feel is needed. Should I leave the red for the patina or should I spray her satin black?

Welcome to the Forum. Nice car,I probably would leave the red paint ,if you dont have to do too much to the body. At least until you get it all done and can see if it looks ok.You can always paint it then if you dont like it.
