Hey guys, great place you have here.

I am a Jeep addict. I currently have 11 in my yard in various states of resto-moding. I live in the high desert of Az. and have always had something to play in the hills in. I work in an offroad/ fab shop that does a lot of VWs, the older ones.
I have a hard time leaving things alone. My current driver is a '75 Jeep J-20 3/4 ton truck with a service bed I added. A friend was scrapping a '79 Caddy that ran, so I yanked the engine and trans and fit them into the Jeep. Its only a 425 cid, but his bro-in-law gave me the entire TBI injection off his 454 Suburban when I put it into his '58 Chevy truck. I put the TBI onto the Caddy engine and have it running very nicely. I wish I could find an AOD that would mount to it, this 3k RPMs at 70 MPH is killing my economy.
While I contemplate the engine for my Willys truck project, I have a '51 Willys wagon with barn doors that is going onto an '85 Grand Wagoneer frame and axles. I have the makings to build a 4.5 stroker with the Jeep injection and brain. I'm working on a deal with a guy for an NP3550 5 speed to keep it retro.

I saw the picture of the rat'd out Willy and had to know more. The Willys wagon I have is a 2wd frame and it might become a perfect donor...

Sorry for the long winded intro.
Jeff.
