got this thing in the shop, and in the rotisserie. tons and tons of rust here is a video of it before i really got started on it.

been doing a lot of cutting to get the rust out, finially got to do some real metal work on it today. had to make the floor pan, as there are not a ton of parts made for this thing. however it did come with some subframe repair panels which need some re work to be usable. here are some pics from today

more pics from today, made a new driver side panel. so i could attach the new floor to some nice straight metal. still have some metal working to do to get it finished up.

I've built over 30 of those, we used to buy them cut in half and rebuild them. Check out the link in my sig for some finished ones.

Looking Good Mike! My Dad bought 3 front halves and 3 rear halves from Army surplus back when I was in school(70's)and made 2 good complete jeeps! Something about being too dangerous with the 4wheel independent susp.
He brought one of them home on our farm and I drove that thing everywhere!
I think it was a 1964 Ford?[S
 
That's almost right. They cut them into pieces to keep an unsafe military vehicle off the roadways. The M151 and M151A2 were bad to flip over.
