Went to Palouse Days today. Nice show in a small town in wheat country. Make sure to look for Pirate Cameron and a 54 Canadian Pontiac, oh and a beeeeeeeuuuteeful 29 Essex.

I will start with the rats, but first check out the head lights in this 35 Chev.

The 29 Essex is about as trick as they get, not a rat, but a rat nice rod. All the goodies including Jag IRS. Don't see a 61 Nomad SS everyday...unless you own one. The gray cdan is a Willys. The blue cdan is the Essex.

Pirate Cameron was in the Parade, I think he is about 7 years old. Only in small town America.

Here is a very nice Harley KHK. The 54 is a Canadian Pontiac. The front and interior look like a Pontiac the rear fenders 54 Chevy.

Nice pics. Looks like a good show. That's what makes the Canadian Pontiacs so neat, the melding of Pontiac & Chevy parts. For the longest time Pontiac was Canada's biggest selling brand.

Really interesting cars at that show cycledog. Thanks for the pics and narration. Did you talk to the owner of the wagon. I'm wondering what roofs he used to make that. car. The way he pulled it off, it almost looks factory.

Gulp....I thought it was:eek: As usual you are correct. I looked in the Encyclopedia of American Cars 1930-1980 and the 61 Nomads are all listed as 4 doors. Next time I see it I will find out.
