just wondering if any of the photo masters had a shot or two of any fenderless rods with two leafsprings running paralell with the frame rails (dont know what its called so there ya go):eek:
 
I believe they call it elliptical springs... Full lenght is Semi Elliptical (used on straight axle and gassers) and smaller (most common on roadsters) is quarter elliptical...
 
Parallel Leaf Matt. Lots of cars had them and it's what most of the old gassers used. They are actually much simpler to build than the typical buggy sprung front. All pickups had them well into the 60s, except Chevy only through 59. Also the vans up to about 67.
I am running one from an Econoline and Crown Vic rotors fit right on after you knock the drum off.
