That's how I got to RRR. I was lamenting on a thread on the HAMB that the language was a turn off. I had pointed my grandson to the HAMB and was embarassed that I had done so. Two RRR members that saw my complaint on the HAMB sent private messages to me telling me about RRR. I am so grateful they did.

I don't think it's us guys that the mod is concerned about, it's the youngsters that view the board. I'm never worried about letting my grandkids get on RRR but have blocked the HAMB for their viewing. Can you imagine?

Well, by circumventing - I think he means using $$ -**- & and such to spell words that are not child friendly - I know I have done it a few times, but that is very mild to my normal way of speaking.

we have an internet filter (to help a guy stay away from things a preacher doesn't need to see) and it actually blocks the HAMB!!

Kinda my thoughts too. Personally I find purposely misspelled words and horrific grammer more offensive than an occasional light profanity. That all falls under the mindset problem too.

Keep in mind our posts can be seen by anyone on the web, not just those of us that are members. Some stuff just shouldn't be left in the front yard for all the passerbys to see.
