One of the local Crossville, TN legends known for championship BBQ, Chainsaw Art and Hot Rods has taken on a new adventure. As part of this program he has decided to sell a number of his collection of project cars at this years Longest Yard Sale. Big John Teeple will be raising fund to build the Tilbert Teeple Youth Project Center. The Project Center located on the 200 acre Teeple and Sons Farm and will focus on traditional skills for youth ages 7 to 18. John has dedicated 20 acres where the 5,000 sq. ft. Youth Project Center named after John’s father will serve as a training facility for skills from basic carpentry, welding/fabrication, construction skills, etc... So if you are looking for a new project, John will be selling his fleet of projects, championship BBQ and chainsaw art to raise funds for the Youth Project Center.

John has been a big supporter of ours at the Metalcraft Skill Center, anytime the kids need something John’s there, he feeds them on special occasions, serves as adult supervision on field trips and always has projects for the students. This Youth Project Center is a good thing! We are seeing too many young people graduating high school not even knowing how to read a tape measure.
