I failed to mention that I want to use this set up on my front axle beam as well . I'm assuming that I will need some kind of panhard bar there as well ?
I have the original 50 Chevy springs from the front and they look to be newly replaced . In your opinion , would these springs be heavy enough to cut and use up front ?
If not , what total length should I look for after my cut is made ?

He's rockin' the "Nuttin Special"!
Even clamped on like that, some ride adjustment could still be made by adding or removing leaves but it would not be as easy as an adjustment device built in.
