Hello - Can anyone recommend a manual rack for rear steer. I mean by "rear steer" that the rack will be mounted to the back of the 1951 pickup I-beam axel. All of the ones I found at the salvage yard that were rear steer and would mount easily were power racks. I could drain the oil and plug the holes but I'm afraid the ratio would make for too hard steering.
Any suggestions would be appriciated.
Thanks - Jim

90's toyota tercels have a cute little manual rack. That is what I am using for Roofus (it will be IFS though). I bought mine at pull-a-part for like $25

The Pinto racks are front steer. I know someone that put one in as a rear steer but couldn't learn to turn the wheel left to go right.

That would be a challenge to drive !

I have a Unisteer-Mustange unit and it was then that I realized that I needed a rear steer unit.
