Present build is a a 52 Ford F5 cab on a S10 frame. The S10 front-end will look ugly, so I've been looking for other frames to use. Came across a 47 Willys with rebuilt 283 and the frame has been renewed. Now because the Willys is looking way too good, I have to decide whether to put the 52 F5 cab on the willys frame or keep the Willys intact and finish it off? What do you think? I paid $1300. for the Wiilys.

I sure like those Willys wagons. It's obviously your choice though. I'd build the Willys and look for a good deal on a frame for the Ford Cab. Or, cut the front off the S-10 frame and build 2" x 4" frame stubs and add a straight axle, etc. Than you would have TWO cool vehicles.

My 55' willys was a 4x4 now its got the 40 ford treatment:cool:

look vs ride

There are trades off with a front end. The coolest looking ones are sometimes not the smoothest riding ones and vise versa. You have to decide-look or ride .
