I would like to a give thought to all who gave all.....We do remember each and every one of you

As a member of the US Navy Serving between 1962 and 1969 some of my duty stations were USS Ajax AR6 and US Sub Base Pearl Harbor, USS Granville S Hall AG40 Project 112 SHAD. I had friends that went on to give their lives for America. I think of them often.

Doug, thankyou for your service

and thankyou to all the men and women who have served

to protect our country.

Yes, to my nephews who served with the Marines in Irag, my stepson in the Army who has done 3 tours in Afg. My other stepson in the Navy and my Stepdaughter who was also in Afg.

Sadly, not fighting for our freedom, I think the last war that was true was WWII. Now it's more about $$$

Thank you to the servicemen and the families to

A special remembrance to the fallen. And to my Dad who proudly served in the Navy on the USS James K. Polk (SSBN-645) but lost his battle to cancer at the age of 38.
