removing dash

What is the best way to remove the dash from a 51 chevy car?

Torch and a cutoff wheel.

I was hoping it would be easier than that. So I guess you just make new mounting points to put back in.

If you are putting it back in then why remove it?

I have the dash out of my 55 Ford...I was suprised that only about 6 screws and 2 nuts hold it on. go slow and start removing the bolts till that sucker comes off.

To make thing easier when working on brake controls, changes on fire wall and wipers. I know wipers????? Weather changes in Arkansas fast some time by the hour. I have not post my build yet. I've been a member for some time. In fact this the first time I've posted on a forums of any kind. A friend of my is going to help me post my car pic in Builds next weekend hopefully.
