This was my first truck. Bought it straight out of highschool and I'll own it until it rusts away :D Gonna redo, rework, rebuild, modify and correct some things and get her back on the road

For now its a drivetrain replacement, buckets on the inside, relocate the tank and then decide on painting a set of steelies or going back with the wide bulletholes that were on it. Its gonna be kept as is for the body, because I use and abuse mine...........thats why its in the shape its in now :D May rewire it instead of patching again, but depends on cash at the time.

Drank a few over the ol girl tonite. Only think time though, no money for more at this point in time.

Y'all think a gloss "Dove Grey" would be fine on the interior?? I really like the time flattened blue so I'm leanin heavily on a blue exterior but maybe a.............

Gray should look good. If your anxious to paint the exterior, maybe try a paint/patina scheme. Like leave the center section of the hood and the roof section rough and shine up the rest.

Pulled the seat and tank, and test fit of the drivers bucket

I wouldn't do a thing with the paint job,
LEAVE IT Beeeeeee

But, I would DEFINITELY leave the bench seat in it!!!!!!!!

Fix-up the motor and running gear but leave the BEST/rest for future generations to enjoy.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I like the bench in it. The seats were free so why not look at em in the truck ya know what I mean. It had to go to get the tank out anyways, but I still got it in the shed so it may come back. Really kinda stuck as far as drivetrain until it gets dry enough to drag my donor back home so I'm doin little things.

I love the rust on the truck, but where the bed was started to repaint makes the truck look bad. Think I might paint it then sand blast it from a distance to flatten it and make it rust [S

Sucks waitin on my drivetrain. Caint really do much until I find out what the refresh/rebuild will cost. Hopefully it will get it this comin week. Sometimes waitin on other people is the worst part, but I'll be waitin on me soon so.........

I know it aint much but tight as money has been an much as I been workin any step is huge. 18 gallon aluminum boat tank.
