I am working in Pocatello Idaho for a month or so and had the day off today and went for a drive. I cannot believe what is just hanging around here and these pics are just a few of what I saw and they are all on main roads.
I hope I get the time to do some back roading.

Believe me there are 40s & 50s trucks everywhere, pickups/stakeracks/dumps there are dozens of them take your pick.

No, I have spent alot of time in Ca, Az, NM, Or,but never seen so many in such a small area.
I hope to get out somemore I saw a few coupes and sedans 30s but didn't get pics.
A ton of those trailers made from 40s/50s pu box's in great shape.

It's amazing how certain areas are still rich with old cars... Being from the chicagoland area there isn't much sitting around anymore...

I was down in MO like a week ago and spotted a 30-31 model a ... Looked complete minus hood and grill... It was in a field across from a store. I asked the store owner about it... He laughed at me and told me how many people have stoped and asked and how the old man use to entertain people and at least talk to them ... Now apparently he chases the off his property...

The shop owner said "he will die with all those cars, and after that the scrappers will get them"

Went to the store this morning and did a quick run around the area these are what I found in less than 1/2 hour aii with in 2 miles of my hotel.
By the way, I now want 4 of those David Bradley roto tiller cowels that I found in the back of the cut up 55 chevy panel. I got a new plan for the coupe[dr

Yeah but none of it is abandoned and going to waste..it's all some-one else's stuff
I was talking to a native fellow up in prosser named Ovidio about all the neat old iron. he said yeah we only get about 3" of precip average here so our stuff doesnt rust but these old cars...they are ponys and the more ponys you have... that's still a big deal around here.

btw that old panel turned pickup...that thing is a goner baby gone baby gone
