71 nova,almost finished but i want to build a rat rod. ive been fabing for years family business, built all kinds of equip have always wanted to build a rat rod. need to trade off the nova for a rat rod , so far this site is way cool great info

thanks, ya my dad used to belong to the smokers was great friends and used to race for ernie hashim ,owned a 32 highboy with another friend that tony waters drove the first 200 mph run at bonniville . my dad grew up in awesome era im gealous what cool times.

here are some photos ,smokers plaque, my dad and ernie hashim, he used to drag race around early 51 to about summer of 56, it was called famosa airstrip,old trophy,and a 1st place ribbon with the date and speed pretty cool stuff and i believe the #23 car was the first highboy to go 200 mph at bonneville driven by tony waters,enjoy, howie
