UH-OH!!

After tumbling 200 feet down the mountian(above), Slim Roberts (below) walked away from the accident. It wasn't until doctors had released him that they discovered he had broken his neck! He was found in a bar and brought back to the hospital for treatment.

And another oops! You see Bonehead, the idea of these is to stay ON the road!!

Do you think he got in trouble for parking there?

Man those are great! I've always enjoyed driving sideways.

Reminds me of: I wanna reach the pearly gates slidin' in sideways beat up and spent yelling "What a ride!"

The Drive

That drive up Pike's Peak is a bit of a rush with out sliding it sidways but it would be fun to try it that way too.

Good photo set moronthethrottle. I used to catch Pikes Peak coverage on the TV and really enjoyed it but I haven't seen it for a long time.

I have driven up there a few times. It is hard to imagine running at top end.

What's really a thrill is watching the "hot shoe" guys on motorcycles takin' it like speedway bikes - all locked up sideways.
