Here is a damn stupid question but I can't find an answer!
I have this '77 Ford truck I just bought to rod and it has a GM TH400 tranny.
Currently the speedometer is not hooked up!
My question is will I need a special cable to connect the Ford speedometer to the GM trany? Or is there a better way to hook this up?

It would be really cool if there were a newer electronic speedometer that would fit in the space for the rectangular Ford speedometer.

Man I need some help!

I'm not going to be much on this but the TH-400 speedo hook-up has 4 sides to it. You may have to run a GM speedo cable and a GM speedo....

That is about all I can offer.

Fortunately, we have a lot of speedo shops around here. It's not the same, but I hooked up a Chevy speedo to a Richmond 6 speed. The ends were the same. In fact, my friend has a catalog showing GM cable lengths. Just bought one that was long enough.
