I have about a 100ft of 3/8 stainless steel that I want to use some of to do my gas lines, but I can't find any place to buy compression fitting. Any one have any ideas where to get them. I tried to flare it with a flaring tool, but it won't flare for some reason. any ideas?

Regular steel line is difficult enough to flare but stainless would be worse. Try looking for swageloc or swageloc style fittings on Google.

Thanks fellas; I found a place on the net that's about 5 miles from me. Picked up the swagelocs today. Get put on tomarrow. :D:D

fuel lines

I have found that if you heat it up with a propane torch ( just an inch or so ) it is very easy to flare and is a good tight flare, just start to flare it when it is still warm ( watch your fingers ) did all my lines on my car with stainless, brakes too.
