Im bluiding a 1948 dodge and it's going to be fenderless and I want to use the axle it had on it stock it was a ton an half truck. Here is pics of it I want to spin it around to put the tie rods out front and I'm trying to figure out how or if I can redo the steering arm. Any help?? I will be posting pics in a minute.

Well my computers down and my phone or iPad won't let me load pictures to the web page any have any idea of what that axle looks like may look like or have a picture until I can get one posted Id like to get some ideas

If I understand correctly, you're talking about swapping the steering arms and tie rod to the front. In that case, you're going to bugger up the Ackermann and need to correct it. If the steering arms are steel (not cast) you can heat and bend them. You will also need to lengthen the tie rod accordingly.
