I got a '40 Chevy wheel & column for my '59 Apache. I think it's gonna look OK, but I need some ideas for really different. What's everyone steering with or cool wheels you've seen?

I'll post a pic of mine soon.

I don't have anything wild and custom like DP1, just a plain ole 48 Ford wheel in my coupe, and one of those small diameter 55 Chevy wheels in my Anglia.

im running one from a Nash, everybody who doesnt take the time to really look at it thinks its a Cadillac.

Man, I do not like sharp objects that I could get slammed into! Yikes!:eek::eek::eek:

Thats a totally cool wheel DP but I can see where DMW is coming from. IMO -The spikes are a bit too pointy for much more than show. A sudden impact to the front end and you might wind up with steering wheel through the thigh or worse! I made a wheel in much the same shape last year but with 4 rubber grips and blunt ends.

spikes yikes!

:Dthose spikes screw off and there are rubber one that screw on when driving. for all you wild and crazy drivers out there who dont wear seatbelts or stay in ur seats.lol:D:eek:
