Street dragster ???

Back when i was a kid /teenager i lived in Dallas
and i once saw this rail job comming at me in the
other lane man it was wild it sufaced in the late 80,s
at a Dallas autoramma it was yellow then .I was just
wondering if it still around if any one had any info on
it the last i had on it it was still around the Dallas area
but i hit a dead end if ya can help thanks

Back in the 60's there used to be a guy with a redish orange street legal rail in the good ole' SFV - I'd see him every once in a while running north on the 405 - could never catch up or find out where it came from.
