T bucket front end

Hi guys! i've been building a t bucket for about two years now. I need to set up the front suspension and was wondering if there was any wisdom I can glean from you guys. Its a suicide perch w/ transverse spring. I am using a tube axle and hair pins. is it as simple as using a tape measure to make sure its centered? Ive been reading that some people use a table with a jig to make sure its all square and centered. I do not have the skills set to make this happen if this is the case. Again, just looking for ideas from the guys that hve been here before. Thanks.

We do a lot of them here. We just measure from the front tube in the frame to the front axle. Making sure it is all square.
