You my friend have your work cut out for you.....

Parts and pieces, pieces and parts.....I will be waiting for the updates on this build...... [P

technical

getting the windsheild pillars re-attached right now and will end up with a split windsheild.
we just bought a new house 15th of apr so getting moved in and yard work all the while trying to cut weld and grind.
the body ended up having so much cancer it was more cost effective to channel the body and doing this roughly lowered the body on the pan at least 4 inches.
i just cut the low back seats 5 inches to get my head down below the windsheild but i may have a buddy who has a way to make me bomber seats.
i traded a 97 jetta for a 68 bug that was a rotted runner. the engine ended up being a running rebuild so i lucked out.
i may eventually end up with a corvair six but at the moment im running the bug motor.

Yeah you caught me ive been busy, i started cutting the car up out in the back yard. I didnt have a garage to start with and had to cover up the work as I went with a tarp. the heater channels and all metal below the floor pans was rusted badly easing my work to drop the body on the chassis.

This is how it ended up looking after chopping the body. the windsheild posts were cut off for some reason but i suspect it was to graft them onto the replacement cowl cut from a hard top. the tubes in the doors were from a tarp garage that became a kite during strong winds from lake michigan. but worked out perfect for locking in the door opening geometry while working on the body off the pan. If you look at the dash then look at the rear inside color you can see that the cowl came from a donor car.
